As far as reliability is concerned, the Turbex has almost no equal in the windmill markets. Due to the well proven helical rotary bore hole pump that is installed with the Turbex, maintenance is reduced to absolute minimum.
Where the traditional reciprocating windmill requires regular maintenance of its cylinders, shafting and pipes in the bore hole, the rotary pump of the Turbex most of the time last more than ten years before any maintenance is required. As far as pipe lines are concerned, the Turbex requires no air chambers at the windmill’s outlet or it’s pipe lines. With the traditional reciprocating windmill, wind chambers are essential to absorb the pressure fluctuation of it’s reciprocating pumping action.
